"Kitty Down has a little used path which links the road past Normandy to the pumping station at Porth Hellick. I painted on this steep path in February 2008. In the foreground before the gorse is a plant called Helichrysum which is often found in hanging baskets, but doing very well here! I′m facing south looking towards Porth Hellick. You can just see the Loaded Camel Rock in the left of the bay. "
